Mudfest Rosliston Forest - January Mudfest on 16 January 2026 is a 4-hour running challenge event in Rosliston Forest, 5 miles south of Burton-on-Trent. Runners have 4 hours to complete as many loops of the 4.38km course as they can. The route runs through a mix of forest trails and single tracks. Underfoot youβll have a mix of natural woodland, gravel tracks and it will be muddy. Complete 5 laps and you have done a half marathon, 10 laps, a full marathon, and 11 laps will be classed as an Ultra. You may attempt to complete as many laps as possible over the full 4 hours, or you can choose to finish just one, either way, you will be a finisher and receive a bespoke medal.
