The club is primarily focused on road running, with members competing in events from 5K to marathon distance, though some also participate in fell, trail, and track races. Blyth RC organizes several of its own events throughout the year, including the Blyth Valley 10K, Blyth Links 10K, and Blyth Sands Race.
